  • The Lions Club runs Art in the Shops in conjunction with the Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival and is just one of the art-related activities. All participating stores will exhibit artworks for two weeks around the festival weekend as a way of advertising the event. It is one of the many ways in which local businesses promote the festival while allowing artists the opportunity to display their work – it turns the whole town in to one giant art exhibition!

Artists will have the opportunity to sell their work commission-free while it is displayed and admired for two weeks. ARTISTS MUST HAVE ART IN THE EXHIBITION.

Entries for Art in the Shops closes on 20th Febrary 2026. Due to limited space preference will be given to those artist who have shown interest early.

If you’re interested email thirroulshopsart@gmail.com and you MUST include proof of your Main Art entry payment to be considered.

Art entries site is now closed until end of January 2026.

The Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival is a not-for-profit project of the Austinmer/Thirroul Lions Club Inc. and all proceeds raised are donated back into the community.
